What am I wearing? This is a little robot outfit that we got, and it is really tight. He could wear it for a little bit because it was hard for him to breath. He is also trying to sit up by himself, but he has not had any luck yet.
On the way from Colorado, Carter and I stopped by Grandma and Grandpa Hendersons Home, So they could see Carter for the first time. Carter loved their Sutherin Speakin.
Another thing that we have noticed about Carter, Is that he does not like to wear clothes. If he had his way, he would probably run around naked all over the place. Which reminds me... Devin and I were at the mall the other day in JcPenny, and all of the sudden this little boy comes running around the corner in just his underwear. Ya in the mall. Goodness!
Hily (my Sister in Law) and Adam were married in the Idaho Falls Temple on September 26th. I heard the wedding was very nice. I got the privaledge of babysitting my then 3 week old son, and his cousin, Sophie who was 16 months. Man oh man, after babysitting for 4 hours, I then made the decision that we were not having any more kids until Carter was at least 10 years old. My sister-in-law Nat must be more of a women then me, because she will get to "babysit" like I did, but 24/7. (Sophie is her daughter and she is due with a little sister for Sophie in December.)
It's amazing how fast he is growing up. His favorite past times are being talked at and sucking on his hand... when he can find it! He is learning to talk back and almost appears to understand, or at least know when we are talking ot him. The change in our voice and diction probably make it easy to recognize.
People talk about getting him on a routine to help him sleep at night. I think he is training us instead. He won't put himself to sleep. Even when he is so tired and exhausted. He waits until his little tank is topped off and mom nestles his head against her neck. Mom will think he is falling alseep until she feels several cold, wet, touches. She pulls him back to reveal his sweet little tongue, attempting to give her kissy's.
