To all you moms out there, how in the heck do you keep your house clean? It seems that no matter WHAT I do, I can never stay ahead. There are always toys everywhere!

Ha I know. I think the only time my house is clean is after he goes to bed till he wakes up in the morning! You are not alone.
I usually clean during Emily's nap but she is a very clean kid so she picks up after herself most of the time. If you don't have a spot for everything that is hard too. My apartment was much harder to keep clean than my house is. Good Luck, I hope you find something that works for you!

Maybe reduce the amounts of toys that Carter has. Maybe rotate them out. I don't know about him, but Claire never plays with all her toys in one day.
just stick with it! I tried for a long time to get Audrie to put toys back after she is done playing with them....it never worked, but I didn't keep up with it! Now, we just really try hard everyday to pick up the house before bed. It has worked for a whole week and it took everyone to help me not just me! There's your key, you must enlist your boys!
